"As You sent Me into the world,
I also have sent them into the world."

- John 17:18

MISSIONS @ COTR

At Church on the Rock we believe that taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth is not just a good idea, but a command given by God (Mark 16:15). Therefore, world missions are high on our list of priorities. Moving in faith that God will provide every need, COTR tithes at least 10% of it's monthly income to support a number of foreign mission efforts bringing the Gospel to the nations. In past years we have also sent teams on short-term mission trips to Peru, Nicaragua, Mexico, India, Sri Lanka, and the Dominican Republic.. AMAZON OUTREACH

DAVID AND LARAE PEPPER

In February 2000, David and LaRae Pepper planted the first Church on the Rock campus in Wasilla, Alaska, starting with home services to share the gospel. Since then, COTR has grown with campuses and church plants across Alaska and here in Washington. Their mission to make disciples has been a great joy, and leading Amazon Outreach has brought David back to his roots as a missionary kid in the Peruvian jungle.

LIFE OPTIONS NETWORK

HELPING MOMS IN NEED

Life Options Network provides resource information necessary for mothers and struggling families to receive the help they need. We know information is power and knowing where to go for resources like food, clothing, childcare and shelter is essential to so many people who might otherwise continue to struggle. Our goal is to share the love of Christ as we advocate for vulnerable mothers and their children in all stages. In addition to offering resource information, Life Options Network operates free stores at multiple locations, where families can access donated goods at no cost. We invite you to support our mission by donating items at our drop box, located near the welcome center in the tent.

This faith-based ministry operates solely through donations, supported by Hope for Nica, a U.S.-based organization dedicated to sustaining its impact. Each year, there are opportunities to visit—hosting Vacation Bible School in July/August or assisting with Christmas festivities in early December. If you’d like to support Hope for Nica but can’t commit to a trip, you can contribute through a one-time or recurring donation.

YOUTH WITH A MISSION

KYLLONEN FAMILY

The Kyllonen family has been partnered with YWAM (Youth With a Mission for many years. Their heart is to equip and send missionaries into the nations as ambassadors of hope and light!

A note from the Kyllonens:
"Since the early days of going door to door with Pastor Bill through Battle Ground, COTR has been family to us. We've enjoyed fellowship, but also shared experience in doing ministry together. Most significantly with Homes of Hope. This has been a mutually beneficial outreach. It's been great for the church and great for the families we serve."

HOMES OF HOPE

TIJUANA AND ENSANADA MEXICO

The global movement of Homes of Hope has been steadily gaining life changing traction and impacting the lives of families in poverty since 1990. To date, over 100,000 individuals have volunteered, building nearly 6,000 homes for the needy in 21 different countries.
- YWAM San Diego Baja

Homes of Hope has been an incredible way for families to engage in missions. We see that it has had a profound impact on the recipient of the home & us as the builders. We provided a tangible need that will transform lives, but left blessed as a team, bonded with the people we built alongside. A house build is a really powerful way to share Christ's love- it has so much impact economically, educationally, spiritually, & in health.

ASIA UNREACHED PEOPLE

TIMM FAMILY

Forrest and Mandi Timm, along with their children Lucy and Finneas, are missionaries with YWAM! God has tasked them with pursuing the Asia Unreached Peoples by way of fitness and nutrition.

"We are so excited with the momentum that the Lord is creating here in the Himalayas! We are seeing the youth come to Jesus by the 100’s every year & are believing that this is only the beginning.
Please pray for grace over our family living in another culture as we commit to another four years. Pray for wisdom as we step into greater leadership in this community. We are asking for God's favor to be on our ministry and that 100,000's of people would be encountered by the Lord through our ministry here in Asia."

SOCCER IN THE PARK

KIDS SUMMER CAMP

Soccer in the Park is a youth sports based outreach ministry for Clark County kids ages 5-15, focused on transforming and  restoring lives through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We offer free, week-long summer camps that cultivate community and share hope. Our mission is to encourage and equip youth with four truths of their identity in Christ: Created, Chosen, Called, and Christ’s.

Since 2021, we’ve expanded to two annual camps serving 500 youth and families, and a Spring eight-week session expected to reach over 100 kids per season. Thank you to everyone who supports us through prayer, time, or financial contributions to this Kingdom work.
