"Servant leadership" - have you heard that term before? It almost seems like an oxymoron, but is it? It doesn't really fit our culture's definition of leadership (where we often see people climbing the ladder, striving for success, and sometimes pushing others out of the way to get there). We believe "servant leadership" is Biblical. Jesus was the greatest example of a "servant leader" that ever lived. He had, and still has, a great number of followers. Not because he strove for power with some political agenda, but because he poured himself out for those around him. And, ultimately He gave it all. We certainly don't always get it right. But, our goal is to lead like Jesus led by serving those around us.

One of the other values of our leadership team is "teamwork". Simply put, we know that we are much stronger as a team. So, we've made it a priority to build teams. You'll see the results of that in almost everything that happens around here. If you've decided to call COTR your church home, we really hope you'll jump in and join the team. We need you!
